Daejeon University
Daejeon University (Korean: 대전대학교) is a private university situated in Daejeon, South Korea, currently led by President Lim Yong-Cheol. With around 230 faculty members, the university also manages four Oriental medicine hospitals, two located in Daejeon and others in Chungju and Chunan.
Founded in 1981 as Daejeon College, the institution opened its affiliated Oriental medicine hospital the following year. It expanded its offerings with the establishment of a graduate school in 1987 and officially became a university in 1988.
